Iris I Levin Associate Professor Department of Biology Department of Environmental Studies Kenyon College levin1"at"kenyon.edu
I am a broadly-trained integrative biologist whose research incorporates questions and themes from behavioral ecology, physiology, evolutionary biology, molecular ecology, and disease ecology. I am interested in biological interactions at multiple scales, from social interactions between individuals to patterns of population structure between hosts and parasites. My current research involves studying social networks, assortative mating, and parental care behavior in barn swallows. My students and I study swallows breeding near Kenyon in Gambier, Ohio.
